The Challenge Wheeze is a sound bucks make when they want to challenge another buck to fight or want to run smaller bucks out of their area. Making the Challenge Wheeze, referred to by many hunters as a snort-wheeze, can be very effective to call in dominant bucks. This call is most effective in the rut and pre-rut when bucks testosterone levels are at their highest.
