Side-Winder

Experienced ice anglers know that vertical jigging with Acme spoons is one of the most effective ways to target trophy fish under the ice. When jigged with quick, short lifts of the rod, the Sidewinder darts upwards and falls with a fluttering action that imitates an injured or scared shad, shiner or other baitfish. Longer, slower jigging strokes allow the sidewinder to have a unique rocking motion to trigger more stubborn fish. Fish this spoon with no-bait, or with a minnow head to add scent, either way, trophy fish can’t resist.
