The rack is made from Eastern White Cedar which is an excellent wood for external use and has anti-rotting and anti-insect/termite properties. Ground support blocks are attached to the horizontal bottom supports to keep them out of the moisture in the ground, also extending the longevity of the rack.
It is constructed using Mortise and Tenons joints which are glued/screwed to provide the strength to support your canoes, kayaks and/or paddleboards.
The end supports are 72 inches apart on center, has 39 inch support arms for the paddle boards/kayaks, is approximately 78 inches high and 72 inches wide.
