Remi Trombly opened Trombly’s Tackle Box in 1987 combining his love of retail and the great outdoors into a one-stop outdoor store. He wanted to bring his passion for fishing and camping into a retail setting, and give the community a store in Central Ontario where they could explore a huge range of outdoor products.

​Trombly’s quickly outgrew its retail space and moved to a larger location on Highway 12 in Orillia, where it still captures motorists on their way to enjoy all the outdoor experiences Central Ontario offers.
